Start a Summer Reading Quest

Dates: May 20th, 2016 – September 1st, 2016

All participants will receive a free digital copy of the first book in the Chess Quest series, Paladin: Pawn.

Grand Prize (1): A photo shoot using historical weapons and armor so that you look like a knight. Have a character named after you in the final book of the series.

1st Prizes (3): An ebook copy of books four and five in the Chess Quest series as soon as they are available. A Chess Quest series bookmark, signed by the author. Have a character named after you in the final book of the series.

2nd Prize (5): An ebook copy of book four in the Chess Quest series as soon it is available. A Chess Quest series bookmark, signed by the author. Have a character named after you in the final book of the series.

3rd Prize (10): A Chess Quest series bookmark, signed by the author. Have a character named after you in the final book of the series.

All participants will receive a special acknowledgement in the final book of the series.

You can earn entries by doing the following:

1. Writing a review on Amazon.com or Goodreads.com for any of the books in the Chess Quest series. You get one entry per review you write. Currently, there are three books:

Paladin: Pawn

Nemesis: Knight

Rook: Revenge

2. Upload a picture of you reading one of the books in the series with the cover visible to any social network (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) and use the hashtags #chessquestseries and #summerreadingquest. This is worth an extra entry.

3. You can get an extra entry apiece of following Michael D. Young on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.
